I deal with my depression by writing. It really helps to get my anger out and onto paper or onto the screen.
The cycle of depression/suicide is: Anger > Guilt > Depression > Anger > Guilt > Depression. So if we can get our anger out of us, it will help a lot. Writing about doing things to imaginary people is much better than doing nasty things to ourselves, or Heaven forbid, to others.
