Marcel St-Amand was born in Montreal where he joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1972. He studied at Canadian Armed Forces Kingston in Communications and was then deployed to Garrison Petawawa as a Communications Specialist. In 1979, he undertook a new assignment with the Emergency Services until his retirement in 2014. Now he writes.
